Sophisticated technology has delivered humankind to arrive on the age of technology named the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) or usually known as industry 4.0. Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum defines the fourth industrial revolution is characterized by a fusion of technologies that is blurring the line between the physical, digital, and biological spheres.[1] This revolution is assumed that it will bring gains in scientific knowledge, human health, economic growth, etc. It also makes effective and efficient for corporation. By this, corporation will get easy to drive their business because of automation technology. On the other hand, automatically technology is worried because it will make be losing jobs. Therefore, many people become unemployment.

The automation of technology surely will make effective and efficient for corporation, in the previous industrial revolution both the first and the second or even the third, the industrial revolution present because of bourgeois interest. Likewise the industry 4.0 has automatically technology system. There is no doubt that this revolution will dismiss many labours or employees from their jobs. It causes human skills are not needed again. All of the human capabilities will have been changed by machine or smart technology. Not only that, using smart technology, bourgeois does not need to pay bonus or incentive for the machine. And the most important reason might be, there is no labour union in their factory. These conditions can rise efficiency of cost, and enable to maximize profit of factory.

In January, a McKinsey & Company study found that about 30% of tasks in 60% of occupations are able to be computerized and last year, the Bank of England’s chief economist said that 80m US and 15m UK jobs might be taken over by robots.[2] This research indirectly gives information that in the future smart technology will eliminate human jobs. Other fact also is revealed by L. Rafael Reif, President, Massachusetts Institute of Technology had interviewed with CEOs across many sectors and the conclusion said that the CEOs have to lay off hundreds of people because their jobs have disappeared and they do not need people skills.[3] This is a painful reality that it may be just a few people who know about it.

All of people have to comprehensively understand about the industry 4.0, that there are many effects come from it, notably the death of human jobs. Thus, people should not depend on industry and always think critic and creative to face it. Moreover, the governments have responsibility to protect their citizenship from bad impact the industry 4.0 and they also need to make new economic models to survive in the era of automation technology. These are important to be applied because in practice we cannot avoid the fourth industrial revolution.
